Meg Ounsworth Steere joined Architectural Heritage Foundation in 2007 as a Project Manager. Her primary responsibility is the oversight of the Morehouse Bakery Building project. This commercial rehab has allowed Meg to utilize her diverse experience in real estate valuation and urban planning theory. Her work includes managing the budget and schedule, overseeing the project team, and coordinating development plans and negotiating leases with future tenants. The project financing will include New Markets Tax Credits, which allow Meg to further develop her financial analysis skills. She is also participating in the project and property management of the Hamilton Canal Lofts in Lowell and other AHF endeavors.
Prior to AHF, Meg worked as a real estate consultant at Bonz and Company, Inc., conducting fiscal impact analysis, market and feasibility studies for new development and redevelopment projects, and appraisal of residential and commercial properties. She had also worked as a Regional Planner for the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), the Regional Planning Agency for the 101 cities and towns surrounding Boston. Meg holds a bachelors' degree from the University of Virginia (1998) and a Masters of Regional Planning with a focus on Community and Economic Development from the University of Massachusetts (2003). |
